According to the provisions of the complaints book and the norms of the Consumer Protection and Defense Code, the virtual complaints book may be used by consumers to present their complaints and claims. The filing of the complaint does not prevent recourse to other means of dispute resolution nor is it a requirement to file a complaint with INDECOPI.


The supplier must respond to the complaint or grievance within a period no greater than fifteen (15) business days, which is not extendable.
